Installed price covers the charger, our standard install (wall mount within a normal cable run of the consumer unit, cable clipped or in trunking, dedicated circuit), DNO notification and the app and tariff set up.
What moves it: the cable run from the consumer unit, whether it clips to a wall or has to go under a drive, and whether the board needs anything doing to it first.
We give you a figure at the visit and put it in writing. Finance is available; Newpower Advanced Ltd is a credit broker, not a lender (FCA FRN 1037988).

Tethered only, but which length?
5 m or 7.5 m
The Home 3 Pro is tethered only. 5 m covers a car parked beside the wall; 7.5 m reaches across a double drive or to the far charge port on the car.
10 m for a long drive
The longest fitted cable on the market. If the car sits a long way from the house, or you want to reach two parking spots, this saves running the charger's supply cable across the drive.

The Hypervolt is the all-rounder: good solar charging, the best looks and build, and Octopus and OVO tariff support. If you have no solar and just want the cheapest Octopus charger, the Ohme wins. If solar diversion is the whole point, and especially if you have a myenergi eddi or a battery, the Zappi still does it best.
Tariff pairing: Intelligent Octopus Go, or solar in Super Eco
On Intelligent Octopus Go the charger schedules overnight charging in the cheap windows. In summer with solar, switch to Super Eco and the car takes only what the roof is exporting; on OVO, Charge Anytime works natively. We set the mode and the tariff link at the install.

How much does a Hypervolt Home 3 Pro cost installed?
A quote in writing with a 5 m cable, covering our standard install and VAT at 20%. Longer cables and the extended warranty are options, priced before you commit.
Does it need Wi-Fi?
Yes, or Ethernet. There is no 4G option, so a garage with no Wi-Fi needs a Wi-Fi extender or a cable run, which we can do at the install. Check your signal at the charger position before the photo survey.
Can it charge from my solar panels?
Yes. Super Eco charges from surplus only; Eco keeps a 1.4 kW minimum topped up from the grid so the car still fills on a dull day. If you have a home battery we set the priority between the two.
Which colour should I pick?
Ultra White on render or light brick, Space Grey on most modern homes, Ultra Black on dark brick. The covers are interchangeable, so it can be changed later.
Is the 5-year warranty worth it?
Hypervolt sell a two-year extension on the parts and labour cover, and it has to be bought within 30 days of the install. We ask you on the day rather than letting the window close quietly.
Do I need an earth rod?
No. Open-PEN protection is built in. We fit the surge protection and RCD at the consumer unit as part of the standard install.
