Questions
Do I need to be MCS certified or know about solar?
No. You just introduce people who are interested. We are the MCS certified installer and handle everything technical, from the survey and design to the paperwork and the grant.
How much commission will I earn?
It depends on the products and how you work with us, so we agree your rates with you when we approve your application. You can see them in your partner login at any time, and every referral earns the rate in place on the day you sent it.
When do I get paid?
Once the customer's install is finished and paid for. Commission becomes payable 14 days after installation, you request it from your login, and we pay by bank transfer.
What can I see about my customers?
Where each one is up to: contacted, appointment booked, appointment sat, sold (and what), installed and commission payable. Never prices, because those are between us and the customer.
Can I talk to customers about prices or finance?
No. Leave prices, savings, grants and finance to us. Newpower is authorised by the Financial Conduct Authority as a credit broker; partners are not. Your login has approved wording you can use word for word.
